These images below, (courtesy of gaadiwaadi.com) points to Suzuki's next launch for India, the upcoming six-seat XL6. The 'XL6' gets its name for the 6-seater configuration it will offer. Rumored to be called the Ertiga Cross, the car has been spied completely undisguised for the first time.
The Ertiga-based Suzuki XL6 gets fresh styling upfront with a more upright nose with a flatter hood design. It has a unique front fascia with a black hexagonal grille featuring twin chrome slats. The headlights get an angular look with LED daytime running lamps merging neatly with the chrome strips. On the sides, the black cladding in the lower body along with the silver garnish in the rocker panels, and the silver roof rails are aimed at making the XL6 look more rugged than the Ertiga.
The model will get all-black interiors in a unique six-seat configuration, with two individual captain chairs for the second row. Under the hood, a BS6-compliant version of Suzuki’s new 1.5-litre petrol is expected, along with a 5-speed manual gearbox. An automatic option is expected to join a little later. Suzuki will not offer a diesel engine option with the XL6.
